I don't have those things

Due to life and moves and a few unfortunate situations, I lost all of my childhood mementos. I don't have my stuffed bunny, or my favorite toys, photos, letters of any of it. A elementary school friend found the above photos in her old things and shared them with me. The boys in that photo, well two of them anyways, were able to shed the light on another friend I'd lost touch with and always wondered about.
I do like online media for that at least, those photos are all there somewhere now.

I understand your situation. Is there anything you can do to get your childhood stuff back?

no. I left 10 crates with my old boss when I moved from oregon to texas about a decade ago. I sent her 100 bucks to get them shipped to me. I heard from her once, when she said they had been broken into and all my things stolen, I never saw the money, and she refused to respond to me ever again. I know she lied.

Yes, some of those past possessions from childhood can mean so much as we age. I do not have much from childhood either, but have accumulated other items as gifts from family and friends in later years that I treasure. I think I have become more sentimental with time giving these items special meaning.

I have a few things from later. A single book and a hat that belonged to my grandfather. I dont miss most of the accumulations, but a few things I do

That's nice that you were able to come across at least a few photos. We had a fire at my house when I was younger, and so my family lost everything in the fire, including all our momentos and family photo albums. So, aside from a few photos that relatives had, I really don't have anything from my childhood either.
