Yeah I would be mad if the same person kept posting stupid post in my discussion.....that's why I would first report him/her then ignore them! I would take it seriously if that person making the threats actually knew my email or address or phone number but they don't!!!!! You people are funny/rediculous! and I can't believe your discussion got so many posts already! BTW...are you gone yet!!! or are you planning on staying on mylot longer? anyway if your leaving...sorry you take things so seriously!

I saw your thread saying you were gonna leave, but didn't see someone treating you badly. And if you're going to leave, do it, and stop complaining about everything on the site.

Hopefully you weren't referring to me, I just made a post asking you what threads of yours were being deleted so we could judge for ourselves if they should have been, maybe you don't think so but others do?

wow, now that is some drama!!! never thought that i would see that here but i guess i was being naive. i just figured that people here were mostly killing time by posting dumb discussions like "what is your hair color" and stuff like that!

Those who allow themselves to become hurt, angered, upset, slighted, offended, righteous, indignant, affronted, or otherwise insulted are simply in the wrong place. This is a virtual world, and part of the fun in being here is in leaving behind the drudgery of our daily dramas and fragile feelings. Giving an anonymous person the power to actually hurt your feelings in cyberspace is a decision, not a reaction. When trolls appear, or general rudeness occurs, let it play out. After reading this entire thread, I feel that now I can comment. As the former admin of a website, message board and chat, I can may be shed some light on the situation. Not being sure how the format is on this forum, I can only suggest that this is what may be currently happening. Deleted threads when containing threats may not actually be deleted, but rather hidden so that while you can not view them, the admin can and they can supply the intact information to law enforcement. Admin often uses a standard reply for emails and complaints, this saves time and allows them to begin addressing problems much faster than they would otherwise. I can't say how large the mylot staff is, but the board I administered had over 10,000 posts per day plus the chat. It was my responsibility to monitor both. Obviously the Mylot forum is getting far more hits and posts than that. Mylot is an international community. As such local laws often do not apply. Although the Mylot bylaws should not only apply they should be enforced in a timely manner, which I am sure they are attempting to do so. False IPs are common online in communities such as this, tracing back to an individual simply by IP can be nearly impossible. Banning a member either by name or IP is easily gotten around by said member. Extremists of any nature do not listen to reason, the only side they wish presented is their own. People who are simply online on forums such as this to cause discontent are doing it for their own entertainment, as unsettling as that form of entertainment may be to the rest of us. I know that it seems as though admin is being unresponsive to your needs at this point, but please give them a chance to address this matter. Admin have lives and needs also. Unless this forum is set up with 24 hour monitoring with admin privledges granted to each monitor it is impossible to observe each item presented. I do agree that threats and statements such as this person has been presenting are unacceptable and should cease.

I think all people will do that now, cause mylot stuff announced that all posts that are not disired they will be deleted. Maybe you should do that to the posts you don't like.

Im not see that, but Im happy at least mylot deleted it. I have one of dicsussion same with that i said good bye, if mylot want to delete it go there and deleted it. im not will anger. Im try to follow guidelines and rules in mylot. :)
