Security in the market is gone

Before this week, going to the market takes time with the line to the entrance. They would check the temperature and the quarantine pass plus the ID to know if the quarantine pass is really yours. But yesterday, when our housemaid went to the market, there was no guard anymore, nothing there. Just go inside and exit, no one will check you. Does that mean our town is okay now that we do not have new cases anymore?

People are getting confused because there is no announcement. Maybe there should be a bulletin board by the entrance so we would know what is happening in our town.

It is good if you can control the spread of the virus.

Here it is still the same. There will be a check and we also have to wear a mask to go out. I agree to it even if it seems to be a little inconvenient. As I don't think the danger is far away. We have to keep alert to it, especially there is no treatment and vaccine yet.

@Alexandoy I hope so. Actually I am afraid the vaccine may not be available forever...

I don't think they got tired because they are being paid by the municipal government. Something came up but I don't know yet.

@Tampa_girl7 in the news are cities in the metro. Ours is a suburban town so it doesn't get media attention,.

It's only in the news on TV that we get information about the situation of our country.

Eek, I still feel like it is way too soon to be released like that. Like, give it 2 weeks of no new cases and then MAYBE lighten up on things but not just get rid of security measures without no notice, that is scary.
