A Rainy Day

I went for my walk today at the park. It was a rainy day but we went between showers. I walked about two thirds of my usual walk. It's been so long since I last walked at the park that I am still walking less than my usual two miles. Not many people were out today. It was cloudy and rainy plus the kids play ground is still closed. I enjoyed the coolness and walking under the trees.
I have read that trees give off feel good hormones and I believe.it's true. I always feel better after walking in the woods. Cool and wet as it was, kids were playing in the creek. But they usually are unless it's cold in the middle of winter. I wore my mask around my neck and didn't need to pull it up but a few times. I hope you all had a nice day.

You don't have to worry, you get plenty of exercise. It's good to see you guys again. Have you seen anything of Jennifer Dombroski? I know the spelling is wrong but you know who I'm asking about. I came back a few days ago and I haven't seen her.

@RubyHawk Sorry for the interruption. I noticed on Jennifer's profile she posted on 5-16-20.
If you read at least my discussion yesterday I wrote about how suddenly I am afraid to use the stovetop for cooking. Yesterday, it was supposed to be the day...

That's great you got out for a walk and saw kids at play.

You were forced to stay indoors for a long while so maybe you just need to ease back into your normal walks.

I'm glad you were able to go for a walk. Kids don't seem to feel the cold if they are having fun.

I hope Covid-19 would miraculously disappear soon for us. I feel uncomfortable thinking of the future, going to work but constantly worrying about accidentally become a casualty...

When I walk wearing a mask I start panting hard because my body keeps craving for fresh air.
