Chicken in the farm

In the picture is a corner of the small farm with the chickens. They have more in the other corner that I think about 50 are of mature size for cooking already. That is aside from the several hens with small chicks. But even with the offer of free chicken, I refused because I consider those chickens like pets that I couldn't eat.

in my village many people have chicken pets and thet eat them too

It is in our culture too. In the olden days, most homes in the rural area have chickens for food.

@nawala123 most of the chicken here are free range. They roam around for worms and other food.

@rakski they eat but I don't think they sell. Just to augment their food supply maybe.
