Eveland will get a chance to compete for a rotation spot in spring training with the Diamondbacks, the East Valley Tribune reports. Recommendation: With Brandon Webb, Livan Hernandez and Doug Davis penciled in as Arizona's top three starters after its trade with the Brewers, Eveland will get a chance to compete for one of the last two berths, along with Edgar Gonzalez, Enrique Gonzalez, Dustin Nippert and perhaps Ross Ohlendorf.
