Persons with disabilities created an online protest in India on 20 May 2020 to inform the government about their existence.
Corrupt officials stopping relief to persons with disabilities, threatening caste Law against them, opposing help to them, and government not taking action are the major reasons. Forget relief, even disability pension is stopped.
United Nation also is speaking about fake discrimination against strong Dalits, but not thing about persons with disabilities which are actual weaker section.
People with disabilities protested on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp etc by posting their images with black bands and informing about protest.
While government totally ignored the movement, Media too did not give much attention expect few news information given where journalists are themselves person with disabilities or have connection with them for their news activities.
Many things have to be done.

The world is had become so selective these days people only put first what benefits them in one way or the other.
.
It's so sad to hear that the government of India could neglecte such a good cause too . I have always thought that India upholds humanitarian causes

This is due to politics.
Dalits have taken over in this reason. Although very strong in political way and have special legal rights for themselves which discriminate others, dalits are very cunning in playing victim cards even if they riot.
While real needy - persons with disabilities, orphan, poor, and disaster effected people suffer more.

@Helikaputo No, Dalits are actually a group of different classes who got birth based rights last century. And they are doing their best to keep the right by playing victim card of having discriminated for centuries. While there is no proof of any discrimination they claim.
Every political party supports them as nobody wants to lose their votes.
