How to think like Sherlock

I think it’s really cool to try to think like Sherlock. One of the best ways I’ve found is simply to be more observant, actually look around at the world more. Because really, your brain automatically comes to conclusions and ‘makes deductions’ all the time, without you even thinking anything of it. So the more you look around and pay attention to different objects and things, the more your brain will automatically make conclusions.
Do you guys have any cool suggestions for how to think more like Sherlock?

It`s hard to think like Sherlock. Usually it`s a gift. Not people can think like Sherlock

I suppose that is good exercise for the brain. Look around and observe.
But it'll probably take more than that to think like Sherlock. You don't want to jump to conclusions right away. You have to think of different possibilities and come to the right one.

Making observations is a part of life. It can come from curiosity. It can help influence our decisions. We can form assumptions through observation. I think we all have some Sherlock in us.

Oh, I heard of a thing called a mind palace that literally anyone can do.
You go through your house and allocate a number to big pieces of furniture and you memorise which number belongs to which piece of furniture. Then once you have that memorised you can allocate a word to each piece of furniture.
