Rainy season is coming.

Spasmodic rain has made my tasks difficult. I had to clear the clothesline when the nimbus clouds hover over my home. It drizzles just slightly, and then I have to hang the clothes all over again. Sigh.
Surely it's a sign that the rainy season is coming. Thus, I trimmed my plants. Wow, a chore I should have not started. But I did. Had to.
My yard looks a little neater now, and brighter. My muscles a little sore.
I couldn't say I am excited about the rain coming, it's a year of living on the danger side.
Are you?

Yesterday’s rain was quite long enough that it made the afternoon cooler than the previous days. I welcomed that one since I am just home so that was something that l appreciate. But if I was out in work I would not appreciate that since travel going back home might take me longer and is very inconvenient to travel.

@eileenleyva Well we have the company car to pick us up and to go back home. It is pretty safe for me for now. I do not do it on a daily basis though only when there is a need to go there.

@rsa101 Yay. Glad you have the company shuttle, every employee needs one. The workers are the backbone of the company.

I welcomed the rain yesterday as well. My daughter was praying to make the rain last longer. As you said, we were also appreciative of the cooler after noon. It was a bonding time for us watching Les Miserables and Miss Saigon songs, plus Paraiso versions of various artists. My daughter's swab test came out negative, so we shared the wreck bed.
Yes, the travel to and from work could be uncomfortable now, more so with the rain. When you do, take the necessary precautions. Always stay safe.

Curious - what impending trouble could rain bring in your part of the world?

@1210800460 There could be a potential flash flood in your place, you mean?

In my country, it is tropical hot. The searing heat could really affect the physical being. We cool ourselves with juicy fruits.
When the rain comes, we cower.

I am quite excited about it as I am tired of having sleepless nights and prickly heat

The prickly heat irritates the skin, and one of my daughters is prone to that, too. Dash some prickly heat powder on your back, to cool the skin.
