I am finding the weather this year to be very weird

Hello all,
Last year our weather went from winter to summer. This year it has rained in May which is very unusual because we are only supposed to get rain in winter here. Yesterday it was cold and looked like rain. I think it rained in the night and it is raining now. I do not know this year if the weather is strange because of this virus or global warming or climate change, but, I would like it to go back to nice weather again and stay there. Is your weather as strange as ours is where you live?

Ok so that is how it is where you live. I found before last year the weather would go from winter to spring and then summer. It started last year that it went from winter to summer and no spring and it seems like the same this year, but, this year it seems like we are getting chilly weather and rain when not supposed to.

It is already May which means summer is turning to the rainy season. But it is still too hot like the March weather.

@Hannihar we may be entering a new phase of climate change that changing of the seasons are not on the usual time that we expect.

Winter is our rainy season but we still had rain in May and had it today and do not understand that. We are supposed to have sunny weather now.l

@Hannihar Yes, it was and if I'm being honest, it's been like this for a few years now. Summer months are hotter, winter is colder and arrives earlier than usual. It can be very cold bang slap in the middle of summer and vice versa. It can rain during any random month. It must definitely have something to do with global warming.

I wish I could agree with you Scott. That is not what is happening here. It seems like it went backwards to winter again.

What I am trying to say is we do not have spring now. It went from winter to summer and now it seems like winter is back again.Spring was skipped altogehter.

The virus has nothing to do with the weather but have with global warming. They are announcing the hottest summer in the last 50 years here, that worries me a little ..

Did I read somewhere that heat is good against the virus? Thanks for explaining that the weather is not because of the virus but something else then.

@Hannihar Everything is being written these days, specifically for that they are just speculations, they are not officially reporting anything yet. Heat can hardly affect an artificially made virus, perhaps for a natural yes

I wonder if there is a reason why the weather is so strange where you are and here as well.

I think nature had a good break with so many people locked inside. I mean the air quality went better with the less vehicles around / less traffic.

I think there are a lot of changes taking place with nature as the pandemic kept people inside for so long and not polluting the air. People don't gather so crowds are unseen. What we know as normal, probably isn't the way it should be, and nature is taking back the planet and returning it to 'normal'.

We have had much rain in my area since April. The plants and flowers love it but we could use a stretch of dry weather. Your post reminds me of a song called "Rainy Night In Georgia." one line stands out in the song when he says "Seems like it's raining all over the world." He just might be right, lol.

We are not supposed to be getting rain now so that is why I mentioned it. Your song seems right. I remember that song.
