I'm aware that a lot of users on myLot are either in college or already out, so I thought I'd ask the community exactly what i should expect of life in college.

Keep in mind that chances are, you WILL change your major. My biggest suggestion is to crank out as much of your general education as possible before diving into any major-related classes, or you could end up wasting time taking classes you won't even need in the long run.
Other than that, my only suggestion is to actually go to class! It gets to be really easy to skip classes when you're first in school because nobody's going to call your mom or get you in trouble, but there's no way to pass a class if you miss the information that will be on the tests! Trust me on this one, I found it out the hard way one semester.
Good luck, and good for you for getting yourself educated!

Thank you very much. I am aware about the major change, since I've had fiends who have gone as far as changing majors seven times by his third year in college, although I think she was a rare case.
The second part, not skipping classes, I feel is going to be hard to resist no matter how many people warn me about it, unfortunately....
