I thought year 2020 is a year of higher and better. I’ve listed and planned well my goals. I even have my hashtag already, #2020vision! But this 1st quarter flipped everything just like that. It started when I decided to attend the funeral of my godfather. I was then rendering few days of my resignation in the office. So I thought an one week break from work while visiting my godfather’s funeral is perfect time. Weekend came, I packed my bag and travel away. Long story short— I was lockdown. Lockdown in a rural area far from my families. At first weeks, everything is manageable. I get to see old family friends and spend time together with them. And then with all these news about the pandemic, the number of deaths and infected, people suffer from hunger because the company they are working for shutdown, so on and so forth; affects mental health. We were forced to stay home but there are many people who haven’t seen their families for months now or never. This whole quarantine period is also an opportune time to help, reconnect, meditate, encourage, build everyone, give hope, and love one another more. We will going to get out in this together better than the best!
