Deactivated

I have decided to deactivate my personal Facebook account since I want some peace and quiet. And true enough, having no social media account like FB is peaceful. But I am still using my Facebook business page for my work, though. But the experience is way different as I only see work-related stuff that could help me improve my skills as an online freelancer. Moreover, I need it should I pursue my plan to become a social media manager in the future.
Do you find using social media like FB quite annoying at times? If yes, why?

Try to unfollow people who doesn't add value to your life. By this, you can control your news feed and it will be less annoying

I have unfollowed some people. But I tend to visit it while I am working. So, yes, it's better to just deactivate it.

Never really a fan of Facebook.
Made one for work and my online business but never really got around using it.

@freelancermariagrace I have Twitter and Instagram.
Used to regularly post in both but now I just use it to check on the accounts that I follow.

It can be annoying because there are many negative things stated. Once each week we check to see how certain ones are doing and that is enough for us.

Yes, once a week is enough. It only wastes our time.

@freelancermariagrace It really can waste time and there is always bad news shared. We already know all the negative things happening. People do not need to share this AGAIN on Facebook.

I seldom use my Facebook account, it's annoying. Maybe twice a month, I say Happy Birthday to someone I know. Deactivating your Facebook account was a good idea:)

I created another Facebook account where I only join groups about my interests. That is a good move you make. Good luck on your goals.
