i totally agree, if the person that starts the discussion replies to all of the responses that they get, then the discussion stays in the first few pages of the MYLOT discussions, so it only helps them, not to mention that it is polite, i reply to all of my responses & it has helped me!

Keep in mind that if you post a few discussions every day it is hard ot keep up with all of the responces. I have had 20 emails in my inbox from just responces and 20+ more from discussion my friends started. I would like to reply to everyone, but sometimes it is impossible to do. Also, if you reply back to someone who replies to your post they have to manually check to see if anyone replied back tp them. MyLot use to email the person who starts the discussion and the people who posted to it when a responce was placed on their responce, but they don't do that anymore.

It may take me a while to get to everyone who has posted on my many discussions I have started, but I find if I reply like to at least one person per post at a time, I might get thru all of my discussions at some time, and this way it continues to keep them moving up front again so others can respond to them.
