Another Waiting Game

Today is another waiting game for me.
I called an air conditioning business early this morning
and they said they will send someone between 2 and 3 P.M.
That's not bad for a waiting window.
I have another waiting game tomorrow for something else and
the said between 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. That is way too long.
Not happy about it.
Do you play the waiting game often?

sometimes and I hate it. The AC people seem to be the worst for some reason.

The only waiting game I've played lately was when our groceries were being delivered. They gave a pretty big spread of waiting time but they did come and everything was fine. Didn't bother me much since we had to stay home anyway.

@marlina waiting just keeps you from doing what you want. It's hard to get involved in anything when you don't know when the bell will ring.

I don't like the waiting game either.
Yesterday I noticed my trunk was open when I woke up, and yet the car has not been driven in days. And the trunk was shut.
I called the dealership, they are booked up solid today, but if we can drop the car off tonight they will work on it tomorrow.
I asked them if they can put it inside since the trunk opens on its own (bizarre) and did it about 8 times yesterday, so if it happens on their property and it isn't in the shop bay, their insurance will need to cover the loss if any or replacement.
I wish that they had an opening today, and I hope that when we drop it off they don't make us wait and put it right into a bay for it to be fixed tomorrow.

Not too long. Many will call ahead anymore before they head towards you.

Between 7 am and 7 pm is ridiculous! A whole day? Guess they have their time covered.

Ugh. the one hour thing, that's not too bad. But a 12 hour window? Really?

I hate it but I couldn't do away with it. I have no choice. So I need a long patience.

I do not like the waiting game, not one bit. I hope that the people tomorrow show up sooner rather than later.

If its under warranty then we have no other options. I also wait if genuine reason otherwise i call someone else if some miss their duty as we also managed our time for it and if they don't care then we should do it..

I hope you get you ac fixed and tomorrow the other appointment comes sooner rather than later. That sounds a lot like when we need the cable company to come work on something. Thankfully since we ditched the tv and just kept the internet service we haven't had to call them at all.

We've been pretty lucky. The waiting windows have been reasonable lately.
