Hello and yes as the title there can't get out of this mood.
Took a mini trip to Maine this morning and the place is still very quiet.
The beach is open but you cannot hang out.
Just walk around stick your feet in the water etc.
Maine is pretty shut down.hopefully next Monday things will pick up some.
Next month things should pick up some. Will see what the Governor has to say.
How are things at your end?
from youtube the lovely Ms.Vaughn is entertaining.Thank you

Sorry you're still dealing with the frustration of being limited to where you can go and what you can do. I'm still afraid of catching the virus so I'm not in a hurry to go anywhere.

Things seem to be plodding along. I went to a restaurant for the first time since things started to open up about three weeks ago, and enjoyed it. Not a lot of people were around, but they were sitting people very far apart. The staff had masks and gloves, and it felt very safe.

We are not going anywhere. The beaches and trails have opened up and people are flocking there . . . and not all are keeping it safe. We only shop for necessities - oh geez shoppers are getting too relaxed for my taste. So we choose to stay put - though we taking neighborhood walks and finding new house things to do. Hang in there!

@amadeo I don't like the restrictions either, but when I think of what will happen if they reopen too soon, and I recall the events of march and April, which were the worst months here, then it isn't so bad in my opinion.
I raised my hand as someone came too close to me today, and said-you have to give me 2 metres. People need to slow down and respect the rules.

Lots of places have opened up but we still have closed stores. Our governor really doesn't care. He leaves it to the people to do what they think best. businesses do have to clean everything every day after work so many stores that are open close early..

@amadeo I don't like him either and we don't go out other than for groceries. We did order and pick them up at the store but I finally ventured into Aldi and they are doing everything to keep people separated and doing a good job of it so I don't mind going there wearing my mask and gloves. Leo doesn't go in because he isn't well.
