Relaxing with a glass of chilled cashew 'urrhak' mixed with limca lime based soft drink. Urrhak is wine type cashew drink deceptively strong. There are 2 types of hot drinks brewed from cashew fruit one is yrrhak and another is cashew fenny. Urrhak is a milder and unstable variety just like a wine and fenny is all weather hot drink just like gin or vodka. These drinks are speciality of Goa and people from all over India come here to taste these drinks. This is a cashew season so is the season for urrhak it does not last long and is taken like a wine mixed with some lime based soft drink. It is deceptively strong and can flatten a well grown man if taken excessively. By the beachside is favourite place of its consumption. The mild sea breeze adds to its kick.
