Are there any stay at home parents on this site?

I'm also a stay at home mom and love it. Like the other comments it would be nice to have an income from me also. It makes me feel bad knowing I get to see my chilren all day while my husband misses so we can have money.

That is too bad :( I am a stay at home mom with three children. I had to go back to work once when we were expecting our second. It was not too bad, only part time as a receptionist at a orthodontist.

I am, have been for over six years, I think it is time for me to go back to work. I love spending money and I need more money so I have to go to work, my youngest is in school for four hours so I will only have a sitter for about four more hours.

I was never fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom, I was actually a single mom for a long time. If I had known about the home-based business that I am working now, it would have made it much easier for me back then. As it is, I use the money now to pay down debt. How old is your son? What kind of work do you do?

I am a stay at home daugher. My mom is almost 80 years old and recently had heart surgery and some other health problems so I stay at home and she is living with us now. I was helping my husband with his business and still do somewhat but I either take my Mom with me or just help with stocking things so I'm not gone long.

hi, My son is almost 8 months old and I stay at home with him. I had a hard time deciding what to do before he was born - stay at home or work? I had a good job that I enjoyed, but now I feel like I made a good decision to stay home. There are some days it gets frustrating, but overall it is so rewarding. I'm lucky that I can stay at home, and I know how hard it would be to go back to work. Enjoy your time now. Make the most of it and do what you feel is right. I am a stay at home mother of two. Considering costs of daycare and gas lately? It just simply doesn't pay for the mother to work. If the father has a decent job and ends are meeting, it just makes sense for the mother to raise her children, rather than paying someone else to.
