Do you regularly reveiw your bills or make changes to subscriptions to save money?
We just got fiber optic internet (first time it's been available here) and cancelled our land line. For $20 less than we were paying we are getting 300 GB of Fiber optic, much much faster internet.
We previously had DSL internet with a landline with a phone package we paid extra for long distance if we made call. Which was silly because we both have cell phones that have unlimited long distance.
We also called in and revamped out satellite package to be 35 dollars a month less than what we were paying and have the channels we like but not the channels we dont watch at all.

It can be quite expensive. Especially with long distance calls. I think the line itself was $25 then the package my partner had chosen was another 10 and then usually another 10 to 20 dollars in long distance from phoning our parents and my grandfather.
