I saw on the news how some gyms are trying to reconfigure all the equipment and such so things can be safe. I know a lot of businesses will have to problem solve this way. We are sitting back and not going anywhere or doing anything til we see that the coast is mostly clear .

Things on mylot have changed too, as you are not the only one to tell me they did not want to dwell on what is going on around us.

Things are reopening much sooner for your area then they are here.
We are still in the lockdown for the most part.
They allowed stores with their own entrance to the street to reopen 2 weeks ago.
Many took a day or two before they reopened as they, often small businesses, had to insure that they had enough hand sanitizer and the proper barriers at the cash register area.
This week I believe that a few more of those stores will reopen, and some stores in malls.
We are a long way from seeing a gym, hair dresser or barber, or even a restaurant reopen.
Those will not happen until June and July.

I feel the same way about restaurants--you know how much I love to eat out and the restaurants have reopened here but I am just not ready to take the chance!!

We have a lot of businesses opening here in Vermont as well. I still worry that it is too soon.
Therefore, I will keep my long, gray hair. I'll wear it in a ponytail or up in a bun.
I still get my groceries through the Walmart shopping app. I prefer to have them pick my groceries and bring them to my car. Seems people have little worries about social distancing and will go out in droves to shop.
Better to stay safe than sorry.

I don’t blame you for being careful. I don’t belong to a gym; however, if I did, I wouldn’t be in a rush to go to one. First, it’s very nice outside, which makes walking pleasurable. Secondly, I’m in high-risk categories myself. I find it much better all the way around to take a stroll in the park instead of trudging on a treadmill.
Have a good evening!!!

Your health club opening up is good news and you can go when you feel ready. Just knowing things are opening makes me feel better even if I don't go anywhere for awhile. It's knowing we have a choice.
