Good morning. Another Monday morning. I stayed up way to late and here is it 11:30 am and I am just starting to move around. I don’t know what this day will bring as the would is getting crazier each day. I stayed up to late listening to news and the police scanner. Riots across the county was all the news last night. I know they happened on Saturday night in a lot of cities, but I guess I wasn’t as interested since it was not happening in my city. Last night was different since they were happening in my city too. I happened to turn on the news about 9:30 pm and seen some of the coverage so I texted my son and let him know and to let me know when he was leaving. He texted back a couple seconds later and said they closed early and he was pulling out of the parking lot right then. He got home safe and we started watching all the coverage. It was crazy watching all these places rioting, just stealing everything they could, setting fire to so many things. I’m not sure how this is going to help things for the better. These people don’t care about changing the system, they only care about taking advantage of a situation. The ones destroying businesses and lives could careless about anyone but themselves. The country may need a change but this is not the change we need.

to line their pockets that is all, it has nothing to do with positive change.

They're doing that to feed themselves in the global crisis. They take advantage of the situation which is not good. They make matters worse. They add insult to injury.

I was watching the news late last night too. It just makes me sad I'm glad your son got home safely. Let's hope the violence and rioting ends

That happened here 10-15 years ago, maybe even 20. It seems that the situation there is very serious, what can I tell you, be careful, don't go out, I believe that a solution will be found for those who create problems.

Yea, seems pretty serious now. Yes, I will be careful and avoid going out when I don't need to.

I do agree with you. What those people are doing like vandalizing properties and stealing them are criminal acts. It's not the way to effect change. It makes matters worse.

Ive watched the news and understood where the anger was coming from but then when people start to destroy and loot properties of the same people who most probably demand justice for what happened then you start to question if they really want justice at all

Kind of my feelings as well. They want the outcome to be what they want it to be and that might not be justice.
