Our Shaggy New World

Bad hair, shaggy hair, unkempt hair, need a haircut

Well I hope in your area you have been able to get a haircut or do or even a professional colour. It has been at least 10 weeks that our hair salons have been closed and it's getting a little shaggy around here! It's actually very comical to me to see our politicians and our newscasters with long and untamed locks! haha! And really if you want to look further into it you can see that maybe a few have cheated and have fresh cuts when I know their areas are not yet open for hair salons. tsk tsk. I guess a few of the lucky ones can cut their own hair or maybe they live with a family member who can. But right now my husband and I and many people I see around have long unkempt hair and exposed root colours- lol! Oh well maybe they'll turn it into a fashion statement like they have done with face masks and coverings. How's your hair these days??

I wouldn't set foot in a hair salon if they paid me. My hair is longer, but I do like my new look. It looks like the old look.

I really miss going. Both myself and my husband look like vagabonds-----lol! Yes I'll go when it opens with precautions of course and I will wait an extra while before going.

@MarymargII I will do the same, but wait until I'm really desperate. I can cut my husband's hair.

@MarymargII My husband has short hair as usual, I trim his hair every week, he never liked too long hair.

I'm just letting mine grow. I don't go to salons that often anyway so it's not a big deal plus I don't color my hair, it's gray and that's okay.

My salon opened in June so I could get my shaggy locks looking good again. Face masks required.

My hair is well down past my shoulders but just normal colour all the way - which is a small blessing.

@MarymargII I think my colour is known as 'salt and pepper'.

My hair is very shaggy. I don't colour it. Hubby cuts his own. Salons are open here but I am not going.

My hair is normal sized at this time. It does bother me that some politicians think they are above the law.
