Well I finally qualified for free shipping

Since I don't have Amazon Prime anymore it is always a struggle to find things I want to help me get free shipping. I am ordering Nico a cat bed/shelf thing for the bedroom window. He should enjoy that, and it doesn't take up space the way a perch does plus it is cheaper. The price for it was like 19.99, and according to Amazon you need 25 for free shipping. I don't really need or want anything small at this time, but I finally settled on some anti cavity toothpaste, part of a pantry item no not free shipping, anti viral Kleenex, no not free shipping..another large box of Kleenex..yes free shipping. It took awhile but we got there. Price is a bit ridiculous on the Kleenex but if I don't have to pay shipping I will take it. Do you ever have to order things you don't really want in order to qualify for free shipping?

I have done that before, but I find I waste more money that way. Sometimes I'd rather just pay the shiping, but then I guess it depends on how much the shipping is too.

The shipping on this cat thing was high almost as much as the item. If you are ordering something large you are much better off to go for the free shipping.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Really anything other than a small box or card is costly to ship in my opinion.

Sometimes you just need to, at least Old Navy, Gap, and Yankee Candle you can probably find small things you actually want for your money.

Glad you found other things even if the price is not so great so you can have free shipping. Someone that helps me with things orders just what I want and do not know if it is free shipping or not. I usually do not order things online. I usually go to stores.

I am much more of a store shopper myself, but I always get Amazon certificates so I am prone to ordering on there.

I ordered once online and that did not work out. I prefer to go to the store and see what I am buying.

It does..because just about any small item has a large price tag on them, unless they are on special or something.

It did, and I could use the Kleenex. Friend seems to use a lot of them, and the box is almost empty.

I just did. I made a list for groceries and started to shop online (the only way here now). I finished, discovered that it was around the price I was hoping to spend when a text appeared at the bottom saying that if I bought so so more, the shipment would be free. I did. I repented later, but it was done.

Yes, sometimes unfortunately you have to go with the program.

I've had to do this with clothing and end up gaining an extra blouse or whatever just to get free shipping.

Yes, it is like you are scrabbling around trying to find somethibg. Anyway it is better than paying 18 dollars for shupping.

It is now 119 I think. I probably order from there enough to justify it, but barely..If they offered it for 79 I would get it.

Done that and at other places too. Order the special instead of what you really want. They make you buy more. Okay there must be a way to win at that game?
