Getting paid by a site that doesn't exist anymore

I don't remember when the forum Twibba closed but I think it was early this year. Anyway, it was a big surprise to receive a payment for my withdrawal of $10. Do you think that has got to do with my wish on that hollowed tree? If you have not read that discussion, it is about an old tree that they say can grant a wish.

Twibba was down for some months already. I wonder how you were able to access it.

You know, I feel like it is a miracle for a closed site to pay. The owner is a Nigerian. The only reason that I can think of is the wish on that old tree.

@LowRiderX several or maybe many sites have already failed to pay me. This site is really surprising.

@Alexandoy Yes, people generally don't get paid when the site closes, it happened to me once, the site was from Germany, which surprised me quite a bit

That is the problem with earning sites. You do not know if they will really pay or not until you receive the withdrawn amount.

@ridingbet there are so many sites that wouldn't pay for so many reasons in the world.

So you wished upon an old tree, for $10? Hmmm

I wished on the old tree that I get my withdrawal. But I didn't think about this site because I already received a payment from another site the other day. I thought it was it but then today I got another payment from a closed site.

you are really lucky to get payment from a closed site. May be the wish tree made it possible.

Can you imagine that a site that didn't pay and just closed shop would pay me after some months? That is strange.

@jayanth_77 it was closed some months ago because it did not respond to payments until members stopped posting and later the site went out from the internet. Twibba.com stopped existing.

@Alexandoy yes you are lucky to get paid from a closed down site. But how did you realise the site closed.

I was really speechless upon reading the email of Paypal. The owner of the site is a Nigerian.
