Nowadays the value for engineering degree rapidly decreasing. Now so many engineers all over the world. But question here is who are all really worth to be an engineer? Practical knowledge is must for engineering students. Many engineers are now working as a bank employee, customer care employee and in low paying jobs. Do you think engineering degree is worth nowadays?

@Sathyabo I am sorry about that. I remember when I graduated from College the graduates did not always work in their field and had to take whatever job they could. I think if someone wants to work in their field they need to do whatever they can in order to be able to do what they really want to do.

I think the answer is depends, here in indonesia, software engineering is one of the most popular choice to my knowledge, my campus even said that there are a lot of demands for software engineering graduate especially because this expertise are one of the most flexible studies that can be applied to almost everyting. You can applied IT to Economics, Logistics, Human Resources, and many more. So i think the answer is depend on which engineering you're talking about.
