Back from Vacation!

I’m back from vacation, not that I went anywhere. Hubs wanted me to take time off from myLot to help make my birthday month a little bit exciting.
We gardened together. He cut back shrubs, while I planted flowers and tended to my herbs and vegetables.
Together we played tennis at our recreation department’s town courts. No one was there any of the times we played. We walked the mile there and back, or drove our car when we packed picnics to eat at their picnic tables. I brought disposable tablecloths and old towels to sit on including hand sanitizer.
We had barbecues and ate dinner on our deck. It was fun watching the bunny rabbit in my photo eat an entire leaf that fell from a tree. We also watched the chipmunks scamper about, who have nothing to fear from Doodles the cat anymore. One time, we had to chase a very brazen deer off our property.
I also spent lots of time talking with friends and family. It was a wonderful week, and I just may take some more vacations this month!

You had a wonderful time Dianne. We played Badminton in the garden yesterday, I cannot play tennis due to my elbow, but Badminton is fine. I was glad to see my husband moving more and without back problems. I am sure that moving a bit is good for him.

Yes, and don't fall over, but we played badminton in our backyard, too. Hubs set up the net, etc. Such TWINS we are!
I'm glad your husband got out to play with you. The exercise should do him a world of good just as long as he doesn't overdue it.

Sounds wonderful. Glad you enjoyed it so much.
As for me I am forced to take time off because of pain and illness.
wish it was for fun

You got a kick out of the vacation-absent from MyLot ! The bunny rabbit's fur is a good camouflage ,I can hardly see it in the photo.

That was really a good way to spend your time for your birthday. With all the troubles of the protests rallies that is happening there you were able to see a different light of things away from those noise. I wish I could spend a day like that on my birthday. My lufe returning back to normal work routine already. The peace and quiet days of the quarantine days are slowly fading away and am facing the new normal out there.

@DianneN - You are the second person that I've come across who celebrates their birth month. Is this becoming a trend?

@cmoneyspinner I don’t know. I’ve been doing it since I was 20 years old.

Looks like you're off to a great start for your birthday month.
I was wondering what happened to you but glad it's nothing more than a break from myLot.

@DianneN i decided about a year ago, that I was only using the computer twice a day on the weekend and I actually turn it off now the rest of the time.
i may go down to once a day.

Welcome back
Such activities are good for our body and mind.
I just finished planting some mints in plastics. I intend to give them my coworkers
