It’s flown by

Newcastle Upon Tyne, England

The last week seems to have flown by, without me really doing very much. Mostly I’ve been looking at car insurance quotes, as my insurance is due at the end of the month. I’ve also though had my first day out (not just grocery shopping) since March. I went to a local town called Bakewell, had a walk along the river, and sat and ate some chips on a bench watching the world go by. It was nice and not as busy as I expected.

That`s nice. I`m glad you had a walk along the river and relax there. We really need a time like that

@Dragonairy1 I understand. It`s hard to do that nowadays because of the virus

Bakewell is lovely. I'm quite partial to its tarts! This whole lockdown period seems to have flown by for me. It was both my wife's and my birthday in the week lockdown was announced and it kust feels like last week. I suppose that's a good thing really.

I’m still recovering from finding out the price of their tarts last year . It is good it’s flying over, it just feels strange, it’s gone but there’s not much to show for it, apart from on my waistline

@Dragonairy1 Yes, tarts are quite pricey in Bakewell We've started to get some of the work done on the house so hopefully we'll have a nice renovated house to show for it by the time it's all over.

Going to nature will certainly not hurt you, walk ... it will please you and it is good for health, better than sitting at home in 4 walls
