My parents used to go to drive-in movies all the time with my brother and I when we were kids. We thought it was the greatest thing ever. Of all the movies I have ever seen at the drive-in, the only two I actually remember are Smokey and the Bandit and Grease. I see that drive-in movies are starting to make a comeback, especially in the midst of this corona crisis. In fact, one of our big local shopping districts here is planning on a big drive-in movie event next weekend.

@LindaOHio I think our nearest one that is still in operation is about 25-40 miles south of where I live.

I went to a drive in movie theatre when I lived close to New York state. It was in Warwick, NY a 15 minute drive from where I lived in NJ at the time. Lots of fun! That was way back in the 80's and it is open today. Wonder how business is with the virus. People can get outdoors and social distance Paul Giamatti was terrific in Sideways and as John Adams..

I guess the drive-ins are getting a resurgence of business with this virus.
