How did Tinker do that?

I should have explained in my other discussion, Tinker was not really stuck on the roof, he just thought it would be fun to torment me.
He was thrilled I went outside. He ran right beside me all over the yard. Then I headed for the shed.
Tinker skittered straight up the tree and just walked right on to the roof.
While I walked around inside, I could hear him "follow me" outside from place to place.
He came and peaked over the edge.
He went and looked at the tree, and looked up, instead of down.
It was entertaining to him for me to try two different ladders to get up to him. He would just back off from me, though.
We had to go somewhere. He got down by himself just fine.

Some of mine did more than others. The two right now are climbers. I can sit at my desk in the morning and watch them go up the big old cedar tree.

@rebelann Cedars are not my favorite, because of the bag worms. They will stay for now, but I think I would love some chestnut trees out front.

When I lived in Vancouver, there was a garage down the alley that I like to think of as Kitty Beach because there would always be several cats up on the roof sunning themselves.

Oh, it was funny as he is a clown. Always right around my feet or where ever I am. I am really glad it gave you something to giggle at.

@GardenGerty He sounds like quite the character. I'm glad he was able to get down on his own.

Often their time does not match ours. We could not lock him in the house when we left, because he was on the roof.

This is Tinker. He is a young, neutered male cat about one year old.He is bigger now than in this picture. He weighs about twelve pounds.

Yes, they do. Dogs have owners, cats have staff. They tell you it is true every time.

I guess he was having too much fun to come down when you wanted him to.
