Feeling Guilty for Impulse Buying

I went to town to buy pants that would fit my new waist size and lavender cotton blouse. I couldn't find a lavender cotton blouse instead ended up buying a striped uniqlo top and a green blouse (facepalm). I thought I am impulse buying proof. But I guess because work stress is back shopping has become a source of comfort.
I ask myself why? I wish I had more self control and discipline.
But it's okay. Moving on .

I guess I am too deprived from shopping due to the quarantine.
How did you develop self control?
