Lost Motivation But I'm Still Alive

No goals, no aim. No motivation in life, day by day my mind is getting weak. My mind insists my body not to work because everywhere the result seems a big zero.
In this pandemic season I'm blessed that I can breath but except breathing what else I can do that can make me motivated to work?
When I work I think about result and when I think about negative results I stop myself right there.
I really don't know when and how I can provide some food to my mind that it can provide me more energy to work. Motivation is the only food of my mind and without it my mind can't even inhale properly.
Last two days i was almost off from mylot as I was upset even now I'm not feeling good.
I need to have more energy to work.
I need motivation but I'm unable to arrange it for me.

Sorry to know about the state of your mind. I can't do anything but say cheer up. They say we get human life after great difficulty after passing through various species so don't waste it. Don't ever give up try harder to get success in life ahead

So sorry for your depressing situation. We are retired, have no problem as long as health is good. I hope your future is better.

It happens but you have to think about your needs. Try to set a goal for yourself to reach. if the negative thoughts attack you again, keep on working. That's how you fight it.

How to recover upset? My grandma advice me before to work in the garden, find a peaceful place like gardens, backyards and take a breath, inhale and exhale, then think the positive way, I can do this, I can make, why can't I, if others can?, then take a breath, breath and breath again, says and speak to yourself, I'm alive and I can make it. Why not thinking those positive ways? Think a move that makes you happy. Reverse psychology. Hope everything is fine. Sleep in a good time and wake up, saying to the whole world, I survive.And be thankful to the Lord God. Keep it up and go go go go.Nice meeting you here, friend. Feeling depressed is to bring yourself to a silent place and talk to God. And hopefully, you did.

You know what @shohana, i feel you but youbhave to keep on fighting. Before fighting to get a work... fight your own personal issues first. If you feel you always fail and it results negative then that should be your motivation to keep on trying and making it better next time.

I´m sorry that you seem to be so depressed. Sometimes I wonder whether I will get out of my house ever. After all, I´m 75 (Today, my birthday but not a real party). But there are lots of things to do. You say you are a writer in your profile. I imagine then that you are a reader. There are lots of free books everywhere. And there are movies and videos and even tours at museums.

The only one who can control your thoughts and your will power is you. Friends can try to encourage and support you. But you got to pull yourself out of the funk! It can be done. Been there, done that. Many times. You're passing through a dark tunnel. It's like riding on a train. Sometimes you pass through a dark tunnel. Just say to yourself that's it temporary and then look for the light at the end of the tunnel. Get to it and walk through it. Will yourself to do it!

Don't worry dear it happens in life. There will be problems but we need to face these problems and these make us more stronger
