Dogs save an owner who was asleep during a house fire

And now for a good news story of dogs who managed to alert their owner that his/her life was in danger while he was asleep around 3am on Monday.
The gender of the lone person who was inside the home in Winston-Salem North Carolina was not mentioned nor the gender of the dogs inside the home.
The adult who managed to wake up thanks to the dogs who alerted the person was able to get out of the house safe and sound by the time the firefighters arrived on the scene.
The cause of the fire was likely caused by discarded smoking material that damaged the attic and deck and displaced the owner of the home.
Dogs are indeed the best friend of humans in our world.

Dogs are very very clever and when it comes to danger they find a way to alert whoever is around what is going on. They are real heroes here.

I agree with you since the owner was asleep at that time and most likely passed away had the dog not awakened.
