The big Duhat tree

Duhat is a small black fruit that is native in our country. It is nice to eat as dessert especially when sprinkled with salt. The tree in the picture is currently fruiting but the owner is not picking the fruits, they just fall on the ground that in the afternoon, the ground is littered with the black fruit. What a waste of food.

@jayanth_77 you are right that the owner has no full rights on the tree. But ethics say that we have to ask permission from the house owner.

@Alexandoy But the tree is outside the house compound on a public footpath. So anyone can pluck the fruits.

Wow... That's really a big tree. I never heard the fruit named duhat. Seems we don't have this fruit in our country.

Its what happens when you make it corporate, should have been a Duhat store, then those tasty desserts would not be on the floor. Do you hear me now? Inside joke. Good share buddy.

I'm really sad to see the wasted fruits. But the tree is so big that it is not easy to climb.

What a magnificent looking tree. It is on a public footpath so anyone could help themselves. Perhaps the people in the house are too frail to pick the fruit themselves. Shame to let it go to waste. I have never heard of this fruit and seeing the photo below it looks like black grapes.

how about placing a very big net just under the canopy of the tree so you can collect the fruits? is that tree yours?

That tree is not mine, it is in the main road of our village. There is another big tree that is about 30 meters away.

@Alexandoy hmm, at least, these are not balete or acacia trees. these might be the ''homes of the unseen elementals''.
