New day, New Praise?

We are told that God's mercy is new everyday so why do we forget to thank Him everyday??? We need to sit and think upon all the ways that God touches our lives each and everyday! Like today for instance... My daughter, Jennifer just texted me to say that my grandson fell yesterday and broke his arm! Well although that is not good news, I immediately went to God in prayer to thank Him that it was not any worse and also to ask God to watch over my sweet little man. So you see, in all things we can rejoice in the Lord and we should give thanks everyday that His mercies are new everyday.

Yes you are right. We seek God's blessings only when we need it . But instead we must pray to God every day to stay blessed.
