There can be many causes for that friend, it could be the operating system, in that case just restore it. Another could be the battery, it would have to be changed. The most tragic thing would be the logic card, everything depends on the age of the device

Thank you for your response.
My laptop runs on Win 7 and aged 9 years (I brought it in 2011)
I assume other than faulty cord it needed reinstall.

@mrki444 No, my laptop runs on adapter power and no battery.
I have two batteries home, one is unusable and the other is fine, I always use the unusable ones for daily because I'm afraid overcharge will destroy my battery.

It could be many things, a fault battery, the charging cord not working properly, hard drive issues...

I suspect the charging cord is not working properly since I see constant jerking everytime i moved my charger.

Maybe its overheating of some inner components and fan not functioning properly,mine used to have the same problems .

I guess so, my laptop is 9 years old so if any problems exist I'm not surprised.
