Too Many Passwords!

United States
June 11, 2020 4:28pm CST
I am so tired of passwords. I have so many that I would just like to start over and see if I could get one right. They say you can never write them down. You have to create new ones and you can't use them for the next 20 times and you have 12 systems. I am over it!

Hahaha, it's funny, I can give you two tips. One, use the same for everything. Two, have a notebook just to write down passwords.

Yes, this is what I have done many times, use a notebook for passwords.

The system doesn't allow duplicates and my work system takes many just to get to a desk top and then every entry requires one. It's hopeless

I started a notebook, with all my passwords. As I change them, I change it in the notebook, also.

I store them in an address book in alphabetical order by site. The book is in a safe place.

i had a trick I use, it is passphrases, I rotate between 3-5 at a time so I can remember all of them! Mydogiscrazy2012 is an example

Yes, I've had this happen many times. I change the password and they tell me it is the wrong password!

I just use 3,one most of the time. They did write a interesting article on this. I think was Microsoft or one of those techy places. They actually said you only need one if do it right and use your imagination as something you would only think of. The dumb number and grammer sign to boot will keep your true password sign safe. I am like do not care if it is true, but makes sense and also Its frustrating as hell when you cannot remember the password for this one. Oh and Mylot you one of the rare ones my password is different.

I have various passwords I use and I have them all written down in a notebook. I change passwords when a site asks me too otherwise I keep the same one.

I wish that all the programs I use for work could be the same password - it takes at least 20 minutes to sign it to the system I am working on now.
