Good afternoon.Some good news.
Stay home order ends Monday.
Most places will be open with some restriction
Sorry I am not ready for this.I hear a second wave is coming.
Well I speak for myself.I am an older citizen and have to watch out my health here during this time.
It is great for the younger generation out there. The older generation are dying fast in the nursing home .Not ready to venture out unless I am in the car riding somewhere.
I will not go to the beach where there is wall to wall people.
Rather go to the lake.Less people there.
We will see what next week will bring us
Yes and when I go out I wear my mask.do you?

Today we started Phase 2 of Reopening in Ontario here.
I called my hair dresser and booked an appointment for the 23rd, my hubs booked himself in with his barber for tomorrow. Slowly but surely things are changing. But I truly believe that we have the choice as to what extent we want to get out there and how soon we are ready to do that. I have auto immune disease and I am taking a back seat and letting all of the pushy people go first, get it out of their system so that they can act reasonably after that-hopefully.
And yes, always gloves and a mask when I go out.

@amadeo If its just the 2 of you outdoors like that and keeping a safe distance you should be fine without a mask.
Here they recommend that we wear them only when we are not able to physical distance. We like to wear our gloves as not enough people wash their hands still, you see it when they are coughing into their hands and not thinking anything of it.

@DianneN My sister-in-law, who is 72 and has diabetes and COPD does nothing but complain about all the restrictions. She can't wait until everything is open and all restrictions are lifted. You can't make her see it could come back, worse than ever, before we know it and that she's especially vulnerable.

I hear you, I wore a mask the other day, saw one other person who did as well. I only do it because sister and store place I go were wearing masks Out of a respect thing. Now they not even wearing them. I am not that worried but the bad part is you can spread to other people. Good news on that is they say people who do have it but do not or are not showing symptoms very rarely spread it to other people. Its the people that actually showing symptoms that you have to worry about. Its getting hot though and that will make people stop wearing them in a second anyway.

@amadeo Yeah I was reading another report America is pretty much done with dealing with this virus. They gave up or just moving on to business as normal. A lot has to do with Trump administration and how they are handling it or not handling it is probably more accurate.

We still have to masks in most places and while I don't like wearing one because I'm very claustrophobic I agree with the requirement and I do it. We've now lost over 114,000 Americans so I'm taking it very seriously. It angers and frustrates me when I see people who think they know everything and refuse to follow the guidelines. I can't make them care about taking care of themselves but it really bothers me that they don't care about others.

@amadeo I had mentioned earlier about my daughter who has Crohn's; she told me that the other day she was in a Dollar General store and there was a woman there without a mask who seemed to be everywhere she went in the store. She wasn't doing a thing to socially distant either. well, Kris was bending over to pick something up from a bottom shelf and this woman was right behind her, almost on top of her, and she coughed and Kris could actually feel the "droplets" as they call them fall on the back of her neck. She sanitized the heck out of her neck and she told the woman what she thought in no uncertain terms and then she left.

We still have a stay at home order but they are opening this back up. We are what they say in phase 2 of things and we don’t know how long we will be in phase two foot. When we go places we still wear masks. In August we plan to go to the beach but it will be private so no masks since it won’t be crowded.

Our shops will open tomorrow too not that we will go out shopping. We do not need to. YOu are very wise to err on the side of caution. There are too many selfish people out there!

I think the second wave won't hit till the autumn months. Flu season this coming winter may be bad.
In England, more schools are opening (for certain year groups only) today, and non-essential shops are allowed to open. I will not be shopping. I am still working from home.
You just have to do what's right for you and what makes you feel comfortable.

we stay home mostly, and anytime we are out -- buying groceries, or doctor appointments, we wear a mask. We started doing this early.
Now that an outbreak has hit our community, we will be shopping an hour away from our normal stores for a while. (At least until things calm down again) I don't mind the drive, it is beautiful going down the coast on highway 101.
Younger people should know that there are some pretty severe complications that they are vulnerable to. I wish the press would put these warnings up more prominently.
