So my daughter had taken up walking one of our neighbors dog. The dog is supper friendly and calm. Perfect for any young kid to walk or just sit with for a few minutes. Both my daughter age 9 and her two bothers 7 and 5 went with her to take Roxy the dog for a afternoon walk. She even made sure to collect any doggy poop and throw it away properly. She isn’t getting paid for it she is just helping out the neighbor.

She’ll do almost anything if you ask her. She did first ask me last week if it was okay for her to walk the neighbors dog. I told her it was since I’ve seen the dog a bunch of times. So if the neighbors is alright with it I’m alright with it

@ridingbet it’s a saying not all saying mean that will happen. I believe treat an animal nicely and it’ll be nice to you. It’s called reading body, listening to the animal they don’t use words to talk but you can tell by the eyes the way they act what they are feeling. I’ve never been bitten by a dog to bit for no reason there is always a reason. You be mean to a person what do they do they snap back in some way shape or form animals only have one was to snap backs. If you fear an animal it’ll take you out. I’m naturally an alpha dogs don’t scare me they know it so what do they do they because submissive knowing that I will put them I there places. Same with cats. My ferrets know I’m alpha and responded to my presents as so.

@ShyBear88 do you believe in the adage "biting dogs seldom bark, barking dogs seldom bite"?

Wait, I didn't quite get it. Was it the nine year old who was actually walking the dog?

She was walking the dog. Her brothers tagged along with her. With is odd for the 7 year old since he is deathly scared of dogs but I guess he must like Roxy.

@Miracle_Maya it’s not a hard task to do for a 9 year old. It’s fairly easy.

@ShyBear88 Wow! I think it's outstandingly responsible for a 9 year old to do all of that! It was almost unbelievable for me that a 9 year would even clean up the mess and that's why I wanted to make sure if I'm getting your post right. It's pretty amazing really

Maybe he doesn't need to be paid, because maybe he believes what he does results in happiness for him.

I was pretty sure I wrote she not he? My daughter is a girl that’s for sure. A lot of kids assume if they do something for you, you will get paid. I’ve always told the kids some things we do because we are suppose to like cleaning the house I shouldn’t have to pay you to clean up after yourself. So my 3 kids understand if someone offers to pay you they should it if they ask you to do something with no rewards that’s probably because you haven’t earned the right no money or your helping them out to help them out.
