We call this holiday soup because we usually cook it only for Christmas and New Year. But as my wife requested so we are having holiday soup now. In a few moments, I will continue with the pasta and in 30 minutes we would have the sizzling holiday soup.

I am far from a patriot although I love my country,. In fact, I declined the approved immigration petition of my father in 2007. I want to stay in our country.

@ridingbet no, I am not an immigrant because I denied the petition. My 3 siblings are now US citizens there.

@Alexandoy well if you are now an immigrant, i hope you do not get the discrimination that other Americans give to outsiders like the Filipinos.

We call it Sopas which is the Spanish word for soup. It is a family tradition to have it for Christmas eve.

That is true, a couple should agree on the food. If my wife does not agree then I might get angry... quietly, waheehee.
