Is your Love Tank full?

As the saying goes, "You cannot give, what you do not have." This is applicable in all aspects of our life. Be it financially, emotionally or even legally speaking.
But here I am talking about the emotion. When your heart is full of love, compassion, joy and contentment, it shows in the way how you live your life. It radiates from you. You are more loving, compassionate toward others.
Our love tank depletes over the week or months, so we need to refuel or recharge it.
I refuel my love tank by spending time with the people that matters to me, going outdoors be one with nature, or alone by my self (I am an introvert. ).
How do you fill up your love tank?

I am not an introvert but I am forced in a reclusive existence both by the pandemic and the natural course of my life. My daughters are away, my friends and relatives are scattered around the world.
I agree with your contention that 'you cannot give what you ain't got.' thus, the heart must be filled with love. And in the fullness of one's heart, one speaks and delivers.
Nope, my love does not deplete, I nourish my heart each day with prayers. A day without prayer is like a garden without flowers, they say.

Same here. I refuel my love tank by thinking of the loves others have given to me, by sharing more love to others and to myself. I'm sure by doing this, I receive love from others too, and also from myself.

It took me a long time to understand it, but self-love is super important. It depends on how much you love yourself, just as you think of yourself, others will think.
