We've all heard that before. Did I listen to that advice this morning? Nope.
I was up in another town picking up a prescription and I decided to go to Trader Joe's since it was around the corner. Bad idea. I had planned to go to the regular grocery store today. I had a list. Ya know what I got from my list? Fresh mint, watermelon chunks, and cantaloupe chunks.
Everything else was total impulse buys because I was hungry and it all looked good. Burritos, salad kits, fresh ravioli, frozen mahi mahi, polenta, hash brown patties, etc.
That was $100 that I hadn't planned on spending.

That happened to me with my last grocery online order. I just kept adding and adding to the cart

I'm the same way but when online ordering. Now I just buy what we need and that's it. One time I went into the store after not eating all day & spent over 230 dollars on stuff I really didn't need lol. So yes I agree with this theory.
