Do the police pull you over because they don't have anything else to do? NO! It's because you've broken a law; they're concerned for your safety or there is a BOLO (be on the look-out) for your car. Either way; hand them your license and insurance, get out of the car if asked and answer their questions. AND I don't give a damn what your nationality is!!! If you're being arrested; follow their orders and when you get to the police station, call your damn attorney. Case in point (besides George Floyd); the guy passed out at the drive-thru at Wendy's in Atlanta. He was passed out in his car in the drive-thru. The employees were concerned and called the police. They realize he's drunk and give him a sobriety test; which he failed. They go to arrest him for DUI and he has to fight them? During the struggle, the 'perp' grabs the cops Stun Gun and takes off running and turns to fire the Stun Gun at the officer. The officer shoots the 'perp'. Oh Boo-Hoo. Had the idiot allowed himself to be arrested; taken to the station; made his one phone call; he'd still be alive but NOOOOOOOO. THEN, the BLM (Black Lives Matter) bunch have to show up and burn down the Wendy's. This is such a bunch of crap. FOLLOW THE DAMN LAWS!!!!!!!

I agree that idiots (inhuman people) should be arrested, illtreated and later on killed (?). That is what you said. I only added the words "inhuman people" to include you. I hope you have your own "bunch" to help you. BTW, I´m an heterosexual, white, DECENT, human being.

@nanette64 I do not understand why a drunk should be arrested, illtreated and later on killed. And meanwhile there are serial killers, narcos and really bad people walking by the streets as if they owned them. I´m sure drunkards can be arrested without hurting them. They are not "perps" by the way.

What a concept! I’ve had one “run-in” with a cop lately....and it was because I was doing 82 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. It was late at night, and he tried to see if I was drunk by enticing me to have an argument (he asked me ”what is a Dale Watson?” When I told him where I’d been [in Cincinnati at a Dale Watson concert]) because drunk people have a tendency to be belligerent. I apologized the entire time he was talking to me, and finally he said, “What are you apologizing for?” I replied, “I was speeding.” He handed me my license and registration back and told me to have a good evening and drive safely.

I agree with you... with one exception. The police sometimes DO stop you when you haven't done anything wrong. Case in point: My daughter, Pretty, prefers to jog at night. (She is agoraphobic so doesn't want to see any further than she has to or she has a panic attack.) She has jogged at night for years. One night the police in town "pulled her over" and ask if they can give her a ride home. She told them no since she was out exercising. The police drove off. The next night the same thing happened again. Again she told them she was exercising and was just fine. The police drove off. The next night the officer was a bit pushy and wanted to drive her home. She told him she was exercising and was fine. When he tried to insist she told him she wasn't getting into his car because she didn't want to be pawed by someone who probably had never been with a woman and probably never would be with a woman. She hasn't been stopped again. She normally isn't that patient with idiots. I was surprised she controlled her mouth until the third incident, honestly. And while this has nothing to do with your discussion I still think it's a funny story and wanted to share it with you. Long time no see. I hope you're doing well.

@nanette64 Maybe... but she felt like they were trying to pick her up. My daughter trimmed my goatee day before yesterday. What do you think?

Hi Good Lookin'; nice to see you too. I think had she told them the agoraphobic reason on the first go-round, they probably wouldn't have stopped her again since they knew the reason. They were just worried about her being alone at that time of night @DaddyEvil .

My Pop Pop taught me a lesson about police that has always stuck with me. Police are mostly good people doing their job. If I'm ever pulled over by them, respect them, listen to them, do what they say because they are trained to kill me if I don't. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Great life lesson.

Absolutely perfect @Dena91 . And he was right. My Daddy taught me the same thing. Now mind you; my Dad was a race car driver and was a Golden Gloves Boxer. YET he never sped (except at the races) and he never would have tried to hit a cop.
