Well in my opinion - I feel like it all depends on the teen - as to how well they handle difficult situations. As well as how they grew up - whether it was a violent living situation or if they are a loner and don't have any friends - I would think that those types might be drawn into the unreality of the games!!!! It's those that I would be worried about - the ones that are addicted to playing those types of games and somehow they seem to think that you can recreate in real life what you see on the screen!!!!

great answer and I agree.
I believe it all depends on the individual, their morals, their addiction level etc...

Thanks for your opinion. Yes, parents should be responsible for their kids purchases and entertainment. I believe the violent games do impact kids in a negative manner.

So, if they are raised to be violent, do you think these video games would make them worse?

Does it influence them? I dont know if I can say that it does that. But I would say that it desensitise them to it. But I think that if the parents take the time to teach their kids what is right and wrong and take some responsibility on how their kids turn out.

Yes, it is very important for parents to explain the right and wrongs about crime, however, some kids may not get that opportunity.

yes definitely, theses games, although i play em a lot, tend to make you insensitive for some time towards violence and bloodshed and it all seems normal. the rash driving also seems just fun and fine and can corrupt young minds to a great extent
