Blue Skies One Minute Then Hail Storm

Made it back home from my venture out to Kroger. Beautiful blue skies on the way to the store. You can see the photo above, on the left. I took it through the car windshield. While in Kroger I got a severe thunderstorm warning on my phone. I thought, no way that is correct. I kept shopping. Came outside and you see the photo on the right. It was like night time. Got home and I shopped through a hail storm. But all sunny now. Not unusual for this time of year, storm will happen often with no warning. A few limbs were down in the yard. But things are back to normal now.

Glad you didn't have to drive in the hail. it was cloudy on an off today..more on than off...but just a few minutes ago the sun came out again.

It's crazy how the weather can turn on us in an instant. It just means we can never let our guard down, no matter how nice we think it will be outside. Glad you missed the worst of that weather.

Yes and my neighbor said it only lasted a few minutes. Amazing what the weather can do so quickly.
