So, whilst I was out today enjoying the day, I bopped into Kroger to get a few things for the Cannoli cake I plan to make tomorrow. So, I stopped by the Pharmacy they had a seating area, so I got my payment card out,and Kroger card (I don't have a key tag although I think I used to) and was checking Ibotta to see if there was anything worth buying from their list. I got my two cards and noticed the cake mix I had might be the wrong size so I went back to see if there were any others..I also grabbed some olives, and I think that was it. I went up to the register,,,and do you think I had two cards in my hand??? I did not! Somehow in the space of 5 minutes I dropped my Kroger card. I was just looking to see if I had stuck it back in my wallet or absentmindely threw it in my purse, it is not there! . Well, of course the good thing is I did not lose my payment card.It isn't that big of a deal, but I have had that card for years, and my account is registered with it. I asked them if they find it would they give me a call..They said yes, but I am not really expecting to hear anything about it... I somehow think this is only something I could do!

It happens, it happened to me the other day, I dropped our grocery store card, I am glad that someone behind me noticed and picked it up for me.

@LadyDuck Yes, you can drop things when you stop to pick something else up.

@snowy22315 I often have too many things in my hands, the credit card, the list of what I have to buy, the grocery store card.

I’ve done things like that, plenty of times myself...

It was maddening. I don't go to Kroger very often, but now unless I get a call from them, I will have to get a new card..drat.

@Marty1 That is a good point, but like I said I have had this card a long time. I gave them a current phone number. to call me now..not really sure which number I gave them when I originated the card. I still remember my first number I had here though..maybe I could use the phone number when I go in, I know lots of stores do that.

@Marty1 It isn't really that big of a deal. I don't shop there very often. I don't like to lose things though

I have the keychain one from Food Lion. I was afraid that I had lost my house keys Saturday when I went grocery shopping. But I found them in my purse thank goodness.
