Post-flu meal. What did you have for dinner?

My Advice Nurses and Dr. told me to eat bland food for a few days after I recovered from the flu. I like spicy Indian and Thai food, but will avoid that for a bit.
Last night I decided it was time to see if I could digest something protein-rich, so I had what amounts to a high quality TV Dinner (but without the cranberry sauce).
It was Stouffer's turkey and stuffing, with mashed potatoes. Judging by how I feel this morning, it was a success. This morning, I'm going for bacon, eggs and toast. We'll see how that goes.
Do you have special "benign" (read: bland) foods you eat after you've been sick? Any interesting recent dinners?

chicken soup is usually my bland food "go to" after being sick.
I've had that Stouffers turkey & stuffing and it's quite good for a TV dinner.

Mac and Cheese and Calfornia blend. Probably wouldn't make the bland list.

Hope you continue to get better.
No bland food for me. At least, none that I can remember.
No special dinners as well.

Yes, I had to cut out my morning cup of latte(artificial sweeter), ginger snaps(spicy), and sliced black pepper turkey(hot flavor) . Just like you, I ate bland foods and it worked. Today, I'm trying barbecued spare ribs and only God knows what might happen! I'm glad you're feeling better:)

@TheHorse While I was feeling rotten, Jay bought some ready made spare ribs for he and Jim to eat. It was for Jim's Birthday yesterday. They were working on the house, preparing for siding to go on. They liked them, but I wasn't brave enough yet.

I'm glad you're feeling better. I usually eat soup when I'm sick. I haven't eaten anything exciting recently. Mostly soup.
