Cleaning is exhausting and I hate it

I finally dusted the furniture and then dry swiffered all the floors in the house.
That's three stories and a basement.
I am exhausted.
No way, can I wet swiffer everything, which needs to be done for the floors to really be clean.
Maybe I will ask hubby to do it tomorrow.
And there are sinks and toilets to clean, not to mention the shower and the bathtub.
And then the kitchen floor, sink, stove, and all the cabinets.
But at least the dust is gone, which is good.
How I hate cleaning!!!
Sure would be nice to have a cleaning lady but they don't come cheap.

I don´t like to clean either. So now I am living only in the first floor of my house.

@lovebuglena Two. But I´m the only person living here. It is too big for me.

@marguicha Two is definitely better than three and a basement.

How many floors does your house have?

Cleaning house is a never-ending project. Now that we can't do it, I'm so glad our little housekeeper can come 2x a month. It runs us around $100-120 a month in case you're wondering.

That's not that bad. Here I think it's that much per cleaning.

I dusted the dresser yesterday and when I went to bed I saw dust there already.

@lovebuglena yeah, you can say that again. We used to have 2 housemaids but one got married. At least we still have one who does the cleaning.

@Alexandoy Does that mean that once she is married she can't clean your house anymore?

I have found that my robot vacuum cleaner does a great job of floors. Mine can vacuum and/or wash and does a very satisfactory job.

@lovebuglena It has its limitations due to its dimensions. I'll need to vacuum corners and behind the TV, etc from time to time. But overall I still wouldn't be without it now.

@JudyEv Must be great to have though it won't work on stairs.

It's probably a very bad thing to admit but I'm such a messy person! I grew up in a dorm and we never really had a clean house. So I kinda developed this carelessness and probably regret it now, but I can't help it. I just feel ok living in a mess and I don't really notice it. My hubby's a clean freak and he really suffers living with me ?? but cleaning is basically his job since I'm sitting with a baby all the time. However I can't deny that when we clean before a guest's visit it's a pleasure to see the mess is gone.

I also hate when stuff is thrown around everywhere. I like when everything is put away in their proper places and everything is neat and tidy. At least this I can do with no problems. It's the cleaning I need a push on.

That's too much to clean the 3-storey building so as with its basement. With such big or spacious building, you need to have a schedule of cleaning every part of the building.

It's more that it's exhausting than boring. But I'd rather wash a huge amount of dishes than do the floors and toilets, etc.

But unfortunately, unless we can afford a cleaning lady we gotta clean. All that dust is bad for us.

Me neither. Hubby doesn't really help. So, either I clean or we live in a dirty house.

Very tiring, especially when it's very hot in the house.
