Do you believe in the paranormal?

My personal opinion is that until this can be verified, we cannot affirm it because there is a theory that the mind has a lot of power, perhaps these people who have mentioned before that they have had contact with paranormal activity are a matter of imagination, it is a possibility not? On the other hand, in my 24 years of life I have not had such an experience, so I wonder, is it really real? I live in a country where everyone believes in such activities and negative energies but I have not experienced them. One day I was talking to a studious and analytical person, with his own criteria, and he told me that perhaps this theory that evil exists, has been an invention of social control for a long time to be able to bring human beings to fulfill their normal cycle without divert. Evil perhaps exists, malicious people, people who enjoy the suffering of others, and may be people who may have psychological disorders or unfulfilled stages in childhood. Maybe that's a reason, so it's a possibility, right?
