1901 - The College Board introduces its first standardized test, the forerunner of the SAT.
1960 - The Nez Perce tribe is awarded $4 million for 7 million acres (28,000 km) of land undervalued at 4 cents per acre in the 1863 treaty.
1951 - Joe Piscopo was born. He is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, musician and radio talk show host. In the early 1980s he is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live and his impressions of Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen and others. He also got into bodybuilding in the 80s. Since 2014 he has hosted Piscopo in the Morning on AM 970 WNYM radio.
1963 - Greg Kinnear was born He is an American actor, TV personality and producer. Some of his movies: Sabrina, You've Got Mail, As Good As It Gets, Nurse Betty, Stuck on You, Little Miss Sunshine and Heaven is for Real. He has made appearances on such TV shows as Friends.
