The rain and storms are here. The cats are annoyed that I cannot turn it off.
What with appointments and shopping yesterday, I was beat. I went to bed early, like 8:45. I heard the storms starting around 1:30 a.m.
So, today I will do indoor stuff.
Bob's favorite library opened back up, so he will read.
I have several iron skillets in the oven, seasoning. For those who do not know, that is a process where you coat skillets with shortening and bake it in. It makes them easy to cook on and rust proof.
I will cook some white beans up in a bit. I want some to go with sausages and some will go into a bean salad. That will make sure we have ready to eat meals for some more time.
Yesterday at noon we went to a Perkin's Restaurant, in the town where the appointment was. I had a breakfast platter with strawberry crepes. Hubby had a seafood platter.
They want him to gain weight. They say 5 meals a day. I am lucky if he eats 3.
We made home made chef salads for our evening meal. They were very good.
So, I may go plant a plant or two in the rain, because the thunder and lightning have stopped. I hope you have a great day.

It would be more like three meals and two snacks.

He does not like rice or pasta. We eat a lot of potatoes. Bananas, grapes, sausages. He likes good bread.

He had gained a pound since we saw the cardiologist. It is better than losing.

@GardenGerty Double malt milkshakes are supposed to be loaded with calories.

It's easier to gain than to lose weight. Carbs can do it.

It's hard to heard a seafood platter. Bob's eating reminds me of Amyra when she was a lot younger. They had to get her to eat a certain amount of calories a day, and they were desperate to do it. I remember they once bought her a hot fudge sundae (we were at a restaurant) in an attempt to get those calories in. You must be frustrated.

He is losing muscle, so he is losing weight. I think he is bored with home cooking.

He has had trouble due to some other illnesses for more than two years. When he is active and builds muscle he gains.
